Join Chief Curator Denise Markonish for a private tour for up to 10 people of Madison Square Park, located in the heart of Manhattan's Flatiron and Nomad districts. A public space since 1686, the site also features a public garden, urban forest, wildlife habitat, and public art exhibition space including installations by notable artists such as Martin Puryear, Maya Lin, Teresita Fernandez, Nicole Eisenman, and Larry Bell. The tour will look at the current exhibition by artist Roberto Lugo, and will also touch on the history and horticulture of the site.
