Private Evening Tour of the Hotchkiss Memorial Library
Experience the Hotchkiss Memorial Library like few ever do—with a private, after-hours tour of its newly restored and expanded historic building, originally designed in 1893 by renowned architect Bruce Price. Join members of the library team and a board architect for an intimate look at the craftsmanship, architectural details, and thoughtful restoration that brought new life to this beloved community space.
During your visit, you’ll also hear the remarkable—and tragic—story of Maria and Benjamin Hotchkiss, whose legacy shaped the library’s founding. This special experience is offered on a mutually agreed upon Tuesday evening from 5:30–7:30 PM for a group of up to six guests.
