For quick & stylish sketches, kraft paper is a favorite for sketching — the warm brown color acts as a built-in midtone for the entire piece, freeing you to focus on highlights and shadows. This 100% recycled kraft paper handles a variety of media beautifully, including pastels, charcoals, pencils, rollerball/gel pens, pigment liners, and brush pens, and both fine and broad tips are effective on the slightly textured surface.
