Deserted spaces reflect an inner perception and remind the beholder of the still-life’s by the well-known Dutch classics e.g. Willem van Aelst. Hyperallergic has referenced his work as – "Like a stream of consciousness litany of the everyday, his paintings weave together desperate moments and locals into a patchwork of nostalgic feeling. A psychic vacation, his canvasses pull in and out of reality with dizzying speed."
